MySpace to begin selling "24" episodes: report (Reuters)
NEW YORK (Reuters) - News Corp.'s MySpace.com will beginselling episodes of Fox's "24" next week as part of a plan toturn the popular teen Web site into a business rivaling YahooInc. (Nasdaq: - ) and Apple Computer Inc.'s (Nasdaq: - ) iTunes,according to the Wall Street Journal.

MySpace, one of the fastest growing Web properties, willbegin selling episodes of the show "24" for $1.99 per episodefrom seasons one and five, the report said.
Two free episodes of the show will also be available,sponsored by Burger King Holdings, according to the Journal.
In recent months, TV networks have rushed to make theirshows available for sale on iTunes for $1.99, including NewsCorp. (NYSE: - )-owned Fox, which sealed a deal to sell shows onthe service last week.
A spokesman for News Corp. could not be reached forcomment.
