Skype China Censorship is Caca de Toro

Add Skype tothe list of American-owned firms (via eBay) capitulating to the Big Brother political lordship in China. It appearsthat NIklas Zennstrom has officially admitted that, yes, Skype is cooperating with the Chinese communist government ina conspiracy to block certain kinds of speech. Terms reportedly blocked include political and religious phrases such as"Dalai Lama" and "Falun Gong".

Like Google, which has also bent over for China'sdemands, Skype needs to be reminded (or perhaps warned) that freedom of expression must always, always, always trump profit potential.
