Is usability in the hands of the beholder?

id="609423">So what's the deal with LG?  I had never heard of this appliance brand until six months ago, and now everybody'spushing it like it's some really high end stuff you can't live without. But anyhoo.

The other day I wastrying to figure out how to put my LG cell phone on silent mode, and I couldn't figure it out. This thing has menusthat go three or four levels deep, and after monkeying with it for probably ten minutes, I handed it to my wife andsaid, "I don't think it has vibrate mode."  Naturally, she looked at me like I was crazy, pushedliterally one button, and poof, the thing goes into silent mode.

Now if I can just figure out how to get itOUT of silent mode...
